This mask is inspired from the character
Zanni in Commedia dell’ Arte. The mask is meant to resemble a chicken.
Zanni is a servant who is frequently the bungler of the comedy plots.
He is preoccupied with food and sex, never doing his job well. His
movements are exaggerated and he has several funny walks. He is often
found sleeping standing up, with one leg crossed over the other.
