Our third design in the Indian weddings collection is inspired from the land of legacy, tradition, valour and colours. The handle of this sword is composed of several different design elements that come together in unison to showcase a sword handle that is truly magnificent to say the least. At the base or pommel is a circular wheel which along with the beautifully carved 2 segment spokes represent the all powerful and constant wheel of time.
The corners of the hilt are circular, from one of these flows the guard in the shape of a serpent crawling towards the base of the sword still disconnected from it.
The blade of the sword can either be selected in high quality stainless steel or a Damascus blade. While a Damascus blade has beauty of its own, the Stainless steel blade is etched with an intricate pattern that runs along the entire length. A fuller (groove) along the length completes the blade.
The scabbard of this sword is decorated with tastefully designed top, bottom and middle pieces. All ornamental pieces and the handle are covered with a thick plating of sparkling silver or harvest gold. Sword belt buckles are provided in the scabbard which makes the sword easy to wear with any traditional sword belt and can be paired with all types of wedding ensembles.
The overall length of the sword is about 38 inches and weighs about 1.6 KG. It can be customised as per your requirements.
